For “intent to use” applications where the application was filed before using the mark, you will receive a “Notice of Allowance” towards the end of the registration process. The good news is that your application has almost completed the registration process. You have 6-months from the date of the Notice of Allowance to either:
Option #1:
File a Statement of Use (see below) showing your use of the mark in commerce, or
Option #2:
File an Extension of Time (see below) to request a 6-month extension of time to file a Statement of Use. Receiving a Notice of Allowance does not mean that the mark has registered yet but is another step on the way to registration.

Once you receive a Notice of Allowance, a Statement of Use must be filed in order to obtain a registered trademark. A Statement of Use must show the applicant’s use of the mark across state lines (in commerce) and must be filed within 6 months from the date of the Notice of Allowance.Application is Examined

If you are not yet using the trademark in commerce on all the goods and/or services, you must timely file an Extension request and pay the required fees to avoid your application abandoning. Because each granted Extension request lasts only six months, you must continue to file an Extension request every six months, during an unexpired extension period. You can file a total of five Extension requests. You must file the first request within six months of the Notice of Allowance date and you must file all subsequent requests before the expiration of a previously granted extension.Statement of
